What is a Dedicated Specialist?

Each of our plans includes a dedicated Specialist. You will work with your Specialist on a one-to-one basis, continually submitting tasks directly to this person. Your Specialist will grow to know you, your work, and your preferences—all while learning to anticipate your needs without you having to repeat yourself.

As a collaborative consumption business, our Virtual Specialist are a shared resource among clients. They schedule their days to best serve you and your incoming tasks with priority and without delay. As such, we do not offer immediate turnaround, though we expect most tasking to be completed in 24-48 hours. We encourage you to place priority levels and deadlines on your projects.

Where will my Specialist be located?

All of our Specialist are located in the United States. Please be aware that your Specialist will be working from their U.S. time zone (EST/PST) when completing your tasks.

I just signed up! What can I expect next?

First, welcome aboard! We will begin locating the best possible Specialist for you using the information you shared during the signup process about your working style and personal preferences. After we’ve determined who would be the best fit for your needs—we’ll send an email connecting the two of you! We suggest hopping on a quick call soon after. We aim to introduce you to your Virtual Specialist within two business days of signing up.

Do my hours' rollover?

As a monthly membership service, our clients subscribe to us for the ability to retain a U.S.-based Specialist. While each plan offers a different level of service, as a membership subscription our plan hours do not roll over, and your membership fees are not tied to time specifically.

What is the Branded Email feature?

Branded Email is a little addition that makes a huge difference. This feature allows your dedicated Specialist to send and receive emails from your domain instead of their @Laversatile.com address. This adds a level of professionalism and gives the appearance that your Specialist is in-house when desired. Your tech team or webmaster should be able to assist you in generating a new email for your Virtual Specialist. Depending on your domain carrier a small fee may be required to create a new email address. La Versatile is not responsible for fees incurred with branded email setup.

Will my Specialist be working on the weekend?

Our Specialists work standard business hours, Monday through Friday and are not required or expected to work on weekends or after 6 p.m. You can submit your tasks anytime, day or night, weekday or weekend. If submitted before/after business hours, your Specialist will receive the task(s) the following business day to begin working on them. We do want to note that if you send a task minutes before the workday ends, it is unlikely to be completed that same day.

Will my Specialist be working on holidays?

La Versatile observes major U.S. holidays. Your Specialist will be offline and spending quality time with family and friends on these occasions during the year:

  • New Year's Eve

  • New Year's Day

  • MLK Day

  • President's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Veterans Day

  • Day Before Thanksgiving

  • Thanksgiving

  • Day After Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve to January 1

When a holiday falls on a weekend, La Versatile will follow the U.S federal day of observance.

Can my Specialist handle scheduling?

Absolutely. Your Specialist can coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage your calendar with ease. We can support Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal, and others. Simply share and grant your Specialist access to manage your calendar. It is that simple!

Can my Specialist make purchases on my behalf?

Yes! Your Specialist can place orders, make purchases, and schedule payments safely and securely. You can read more about our security measures and policies here. To share credit card information, passwords, and other sensitive data, simply have your Specialist collect your information over the phone. This way, we can ensure your information remains safe. At La Versatile, we are committed to the security of your account!

Can my Specialist make outbound phone calls for me?

They sure can but with some limitations. Your Specialist is happy to contact vendors, make reservations, and place phone calls for you but they cannot make sales or prospecting calls to solicit customers.

How about in-bound phone calls?

Yes and no. Every Specialist will be accessible to you by phone. However, this line is available for your convenience alone. Your Specialist cannot accept calls from contacts, vendors, or service providers on your behalf.

Can my Specialist keep my inbox organized?

They can! Your Specialist can read, send, delete, organize, filter, and create rules for messages on your behalf. It’s a great way to stay on top of email and keep your inbox tidy.

Can my Specialist edit and format a presentation for me?

They sure can. Your Specialist can use Google Presentations to format and edit personal or business presentations with your provided content, images, and detailed instructions.

Can my Specialist work with my project management tools or other specialized software?

All of our Specialists go through a rigorous certification process so that they can best serve you from day one. While we do not offer specific training for specialized software, our Specialists are more than happy to assist if you are able to provide instruction. Please note that we are unable to provide support for any software requiring a local desktop download.

Can my Specialist help with my accounting needs?

You Specialist will happily find you an excellent bookkeeper or CPA. However, due to certain legalities and specific knowledge of the domain, Specialists are unable to provide assistance with Quickbooks or other accounting tools.

Can my Specialist do design work for me?

Your Specialist can certainly research and vet qualified freelancers or graphic design agencies. However, as talented as your Specialist is, they cannot personally provide assistance with design projects.

How about a video or audio editing?

Much like design work, audio and video editing require domain expertise which your Specialist will not be able to provide. If you need to find a good editor though, your Specialist will gladly hunt down the best!
